Each suncatcher is filled with a unique collection of broken stained glass pieces from glass blowers on Cape Cod. A solid brass inlay surrounds the opening. As the sun illuminates it from the back, it reflects off the sharp edges and passes through the colored pieces, producing a warm and sparkling appearance.
The tools used to build the sun catchers were: CNC router, tablesaw, thickness planer, glass cutter and sandpaper. They are finished with 4 coats of shellac.
The dimensions are 4" wide by 6" high.
